So i'm not new to multiplayer or gaming at all, all ports have been forwarded and I have no issue with nwn 1 or enhanced which uses the same ports, Me and my friend cannot connect to eachothers at all and get the classic timeout not responding error. We even tried the client extension and my server didn't show up there no matter what, direct ip still timed out. I even fully disabled my firewall even tho i added the port inbound rules. We're lost , i'm lost...

Windows 10 64 bit, and my connection is wired directly in my router too. We really want to try the campaign together, I'm usually into big persistant worlds and I love them but I want to play campaign with my friend. I refuse to use tuungle or hamachi for something that should work, Ive hosted many games without any issue so i didn't mix up anything NAT-related. Is there maybe a conflict with hosting nwn 2 and windows 10? I'm out of ideas hehe...

Oh and we got our own cd keys
