So I just got NWN2 from GoG. and the camera is fing HORRIBLE! Honestly don't understand how I could play this game back in the day with the camera like that. I have tried different settings and found something that almost works. In character mode is there any way to make the camera NOT spin around when my character turns? Alternately is there any way to invert the mouse in exploration mode? I don't mind if I have to change settings manually in the game files or whatever. Just can't play the game like this...

I agree, the camera in NWN2 is terrible.
I'm not sure about the things you asked for, but at least you can set the zoom and turn speeds beyond what is possible in the options menu by editing nwn2player.ini located in /documents/neverwinter nights 2.
