Hey guys,
Just bought this after having not played since release. I'm trying to play with a friend, but neither he or I can get Direct Connect to work.
We have our CD Keys entered properly, no error there. We can each create the game, no error there, and we have port forwarded standard port 5121.
But even if utilizing www.whatsmyip.org and connecting with that ip (example 108.08.08.33:5121) we are still unable to connect.
I am using a Verizon router and have forwarded ports 5121-5300 UDP. He has done the same on his end.
What are we missing here? Are we using the wrong IP's? Are we not forwarding properly? PLEASE HELP!!
