Is the game unplayable in Windows 10? Game crashed and lost save file and character.

I have no problems with Win 10, and I don't need the client extension.

Make sure you don't install the game in Program Files (or equivalent). Maybe that was the problem?

olnorton: I have no problems with Win 10, and I don't need the client extension.
*shrugs* it solved the stuttering animations.

I never install a game there. It is installed GOG Galaxy Games folder on my G drive.

Wanted to chime in to say that I use Windows 10 and had the same crashing problem (for some reason right after I got the first shard in the lizard ruin and returned to West Harbor). Using this extension, the game hasn't crash after testing it out.

Since it's somewhat unclear how to use this extension, all you need to do is open up the zip file and click on NWLauncher. This is what you now use as your default icon for launching the game.
