My copy of NWN2 on cd works fine. I bought this strictly for convenience and for westgate.
The program integrity checks out, it installs fine, but when I try to play it, all i get is a black screen and then it force minimizes itself to the taskbar. I have tried all compatible options, reinstalling forcing admin privileges. I got some success by disabling the intro movies in the ini. By success, I mean I could now here a bit of sound, but the game still forced itself into a minimized state. Any time I click on it I hear and see a flash of the game but it switches back to minimized. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for double post my 1st attempt at posting did not seem to work but I guess it did..
I found a reference to this problem and the Combined Community Codec Pack fixed it. Solved
