I've had the retail NWN2 installed for a long time. Can I use the GOG download to just install/add the expansion packs to my original installation? Or do I have to uninstall my NWN2 and reinstall everything from the GOG download?

You can keep your vanilla copy, but the GoG version will install as a whole, and may screw up some registry files. If I were I'd uninstall your vanilla copy as it won't be needed.

I uninstalled my retail copy (kept the saves) and installed my GoG copy into a different folder but all my save games still work fine... they are in my docs folders. I would not try to have both installed at the same time but other that that you should be ok.
