So I just downloaded NWN2 for the first time today and started a new character and new original campaign. I skipped the tutorial since I had already seen it in a gameplay video.
However, I seem to have encountered some sort of graphics glitch as soon as I started the new game. Whenever I move my character and his companions follow him, the sprites/models will run in place and then warp to their destinations a few seconds later. All the character models seem to do this when they move. I haven't initiated any events or battles yet or left the house where the original campaign begins.
I started with whatever the default graphics options were, I don't have a bad computer and it seemed to handle the game on high graphics settings fine. I don't notice any lag or anything like that and the areas load very quickly. The only problem I've noticed so far is this running in place then warping to destination bug.
I did mess around with the graphics settings, turning anti aliasing from zero (where it was defaulted) to x2 then x4 (restarting the game client each time) this doesn't seem to effect the warping of the character models at all. Neither does turning shadow quality down or texture quality down. I didn't see anything else on the graphics options that would seem to have anything remotely to do with the character models warping when moving around. So, I'm basically at a loss as to what is causing this now or how to fix it.
Has anyone else experienced this bug? Is there any fix for it?
My OS is windows 7 and my PC easily meets the requirements for the game.
Some help would be appreciated, thanks.
