NWN1 is crashing on start for me. I had it uninstalled for a while and decided to start playing again.
I had previous solved the crash on startup issue using instructions in the thread:

but that link does not work anymore for some reason and I don't remember what steps I took to solve it last time.

When GOG added Neverwinter Nights 2, this forums name changed from Neverwinter Nights Diamond, to Neverwinter Nights series.

This is now the correct link:
