Greetings NWN guru's. Old School NWN 1 player (played mostly local vault a decade ago now) and me and some fellow old friends are playing with the idea of starting up a new local vault pvp server. I have been looking around the web for an "anti-hack / illegal character filters" that will block the most recent nasties out there but most filters (i.e., Toki's Fire Gate, Moo's filter, etc) that I find are rather dated. Anything out there that is rather recent that you can point me towards or even if any of you scripters out there are looking for some work and have a pay-pal account we are willing to hire for some quality scripting for this and other projects (send a PM if interested).

The server can prohibit illegal characters, but the only surefire way to make sure nobody logs in with +10 Keen Sword of Death and a Robe of Immunity to Everything is to store characters on a server vault. With the authentication server down you'll also need to secure it so people don't log in and swipe one another's accounts...
