My dear and fellow RPG fans,
I am facing this issue with the NWN multiplayer campaign, actually i am trying to create a Multiplayer game t enjoy the campaign with my friends. I've disabled the windows firewall just in case and i've checked my real ip address by searching on google "my real ip", then i've told to my friends my ip followed by the port number which appears in the advanced option when you are starting the multiplayer game, I've also tried using Xfire and told them just joining my game, but nothing. So, i think the problem is me : (. Do you have any suggestion? I am sorry but i have no experience in this kind of problem and i dont know what to do!
My thanks for your kindness :D

#1) Are they using your copy? You all need different CD keys to get into the game.

#2) Try the stand-alone dedicated server.

#3) Try a DMZ to see if it's a port issue

Those might try. I have the hardest time getting mine to work for unknown reasons, too. But those are some good steps you can try.

Also, your ISP may be blocking ports or you might have a NAT IP address from your ISP. You can get a "public" IP address from your ISP if you ask (usually) if you are behind some NAT.

All my thanks for your precious help! Actually i think we have at least a cd-key issue, this is weird because i've bought from gog two different copies of the game, one for myself one for my friend, maybe this issue can be solved by requesting a new cd-key?
You do need different CD keys for sure. You get a standard CD key that everyone gets and a multiplayer CD key if you request one. So if your friend and you both request a CD key, then you should have different CD keys and it should all work. Follow the instructions that support gives you to get the CD key information in the right spot.
