I wanted all available companions with me because I enjoy hearing everyone's conversations and I stupidly used the console commands "partyadd" to add Gann rather than the correct command "rs ga_party_add(name)". Now I can't remove Gann from my party no matter what - if I tell him to leave he he says he's wait "here" no matter where I am but he is still in my party. if use the partyremove command, Gann is removed, there is a clone of him standing next to me and if I save and reload, he is back in my party. If I tell the clone to join me, save and reload, there are two Ganns in my party. If I tell the clone to join me and then send him back to the veil, he doesn't actually go anywhere and he'll be back in my party after I load my game. I've tried all sorts of combinations like that but nothing works. Can anyone help?

Okay, I was able to solve the problem using this thread. It seems the game created a whole new character that's exactly like Gann but not him. I made a safe save, manually deleted the .ros file for the "fake" Gann, in my case it was RID56053.ros. Restarted the game and fake Gann was gone. Then I added the real Gann via the command "rs ga_party_add (gann)", told him to leave and that's it. Next time I entered the Veil, Gann was there and I was able to add him the usual way, although I had to match his equipment and change his influence levels to what the "fake" Gann had and also to level him up, for some reason he had a little more experience points than fake Gann. So far so good.
