The difference between a longsword and shortsword is a d8 versus d6. On average, the difference is 1 point of damage. This is not worth quibbling over, which is why most builds just go with a light weapon in each hand so they get full effect from the weapon focus feat chains.
About the 2 weapon fighting.
I mean when i have weapon focus kukri, two kukri+3 and suddenly I find a rapier+5 its OK to put the rapier in the main hand. (dual wielders have mostly weapon finesse, so longsword is not good)

Darvin, I thought about your build and weapon master seems not so good. I think its better to use more rogue levels or something like invisible blade.
Until now I found only few builds that combine weapon master and two weapon fighting in a good way.
A very good example is:
http://nwn2db.com/build/?14729

When thinking about dual wielding 2 different weapons I remembered him:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miyamoto_Musashi (all those JRPG I have are finally good for something)
He was fighting with a katana and a wakizashi at the same time.

You cannot use a katana for weapon finesse and there are no wakizashis in NWN2
But to honor him I tried to make a bard 1/fighter 12, weapon master 7/divine champion10
with epic weapon specialization kukri and perfect two weapon fighting and it worked.
I don´t care if it is powerful. It is a concept no one ever had before. There are only 2 other builds with this level split and both are strengh fighters.
note to myself: maybe I should start to make an account there, even if nobody will ever see my chars in game because I will never do PvP

Yup, you're fine if you do that. Though by the time you're finding +5 equipment you probably should have weapon specialization and improved critical. At that point, you're better off sticking with the +3 kukri and keeping the rapier as an alternate weapon for piercing DR.

Sure, that's definitely a safer way to go. My earlier build was just some musing. Weapon Master is a very large investment; it's got a huge payoff but it's a bit of a struglge getting there.

No, though even if it did exist it wouldn't be a very good combo. The 3rd edition ruleset has always greatly rewarded specializing in a single weapon type.

What's the bard level for?

Darvin: What's the bard level for?
- This man was not only a warrior but also a poet and artist
-Its no good having odd fighter levels or other than 7 weapon master
-He gets inspire courage and some class skills

If somebody really wants to play this (I don´t think its very powerfull) he can also use 1 level of cleric (domain feats) or shodowdancer (hide in plain sight) or something else.

I guess that's my pen and paper instinct coming in. You don't need to have levels in bard to be a poet and artist. Neverwinter Nights enforces that you must have bard levels to take the perform skill, but this is not true in the actual pen-and-paper game. In fact, the vast majority of such artists won't be bards, since they don't have the magical powers that go along with it. They're just people who put skill points into perform.

It increases your base attack bonus, unlike that first level of bard; odd fighter levels aren't great, but they aren't bad either.

Jarmo: PvP.
Just to put it out there, any NWN1 pvp server worth a damn either banned Shadowdancer outright or had some sort of function that removed Hide in Plain Sight.

Largely because HiPS breaks the combat engine due to being able to disappear and then attack before spot/listen checks have even been made. I Imagine it does the same things to NWN2's combat engine but can't be arsed to test it.

Of course there were still the unbalanaced wilds you could run around in, servers that let powergamers go truly nuts but honestly those servers usually drove off anyone that didn't want to play a Shadowdancer variant.
More questions.

When I play NWN2 I sometimes have a problem fighting invisible or stealthed enemies.
I can see them (so my spot skill seems to be good enough) and when I put the cursor over them
they are shown as target. But when I click on them my chars will not attac them or cast spells on them.
I have to wait until they attac me.

Whats the problem and how to solve it?

I could imagine the following things:
-cast any AOE spell
-cast dispell magic on that area
-cast true seeing

But I still don´t know why I cant attac something I see.

PS: I think I had a similar problem with some mages in baldurs gate 2.
It has something to do with the way invisibility is represented in-game. They still show up because your character can figure out where they are, but they still can't see them, so they can't use ranged attacks or spells. If you move your PC right next to the "invisible" enemy you should be able to use melee attacks though, with a malus to hit.

The best way to deal with it however is to get rid of their invisibility, with true seeing, or any other spells that does the same thing.
Other than that, you can just wait until they're finished buffing/healing and start attacking, then their invisibility should be broken.

It's likely your Listen skill that's kicking in, but could also be Spot. The game allows the player to 'see' the mob, but the character actually can't (Listen gives you a general idea due to sounds the creature is making, and Spot doesn't mean you actually see the creature, but you may notice a wavering in the air or a casting of a shadow or something like that). And since you can't see it and only have a general idea where it is, you can't target it with single target spells. You can use an AoE spell though, as you noted.
But when I spotted (or listened) them, they cannot sneak attac me unless I attac something else or they attac me from behind, right?
