Tired of your old boring NWN 1 NWN 2 Server like Prisoner of the Mist (raven loft) for NWN 1 that you cant solo a Hostile npc with out a 2 to 3 player group but the player's are high lvl and don't care about you or to help........or maybe you you have played that server for NWN 2 that is called Baldors Gate Sword of the Coast that for some reason always full with 70 players and it has some of the most stupid rules that forces the player to play in the under dark where they may be 5 players there and have to wait till 30 to get on top side.....Well look no more there is a light in the Darkness it's called Midgardsaga it's is a NWN 2 server Where for starters you can be a Werewolf and a Vampire from the start without have to wait months or weeks like the other server's it's a true good against evil game that has a great crafting and awsome made items that make your player a force to be fighting the Fray well i wont go any further read and play for your self here's the link http://midgardsaga.mine.nu

What does this have to do woth GoG? Since they do not sell nwn2 perhaps you should repost this on the BSN boards.

the whole point of the post is to get the word out about this game wether it's on GoG or not it will be sooner or latter i will be going to other site's and posting just thought i would start here and plus i haven't made a forum post in years but i thought to help to support the best NWN 2 server there is thank you for the reply i shall check out on posting on face book and other site's...

It would also help if you included a direct connect IP or at least Game room with your post, Just to make it easier for players to find the server. If you could get the forum Amin on your site to also add the IP and game room to your server status window, will also help players in finding youe server hassal free. I can not tell you how many servers I may have tryed if they just made it a little simpler to know where the server was that they where talking about.

Just one last word of advice, I have seen many flame wars over the years, just because someone called what they had the best. There are many styles of play out there and some idiots just are not able to except the fact of others stating there opinion as fact is ok.
So you may want to make it read more as a "great server". just to make the post more idiot proff.

I can't seem to get on multiplayer on my NWN. It always says that it failed to connect to the master server, and keeps timing out when I try to find servers.

The master server is currently down and has been for months. I myself dout if it will ever come back. Still the lack of the master server working will not stop you from playing multi player games. If the long delay in wating for responce from the master server buggs you there are ways to just make sure it fails every single ting in a faster manner.

Probably is, all the times I've tried looking for servers, not a single one has shown up ever.

EDIT: Nevermind, ticked the "Dedicated Internet Connection" box in configuration, and now it loads servers.

That sounds more like a firewall problem. GameSpy is still up and running well.

If you are trying to connect to a Neverwinter Nights server through a
firewall, NAT, or router, here is some information for you to help you get
connected. First, please read the manual that came with your firewall or
router.

Neverwinter Nights uses UDP, not TCP for its connections.

If you think that your firewall is preventing you from connecting to the
game servers, please make sure that the following ports are open:

Ports 5120 through 5300

If you are wanting to make sure that your NAT is set up to allow the game
to play here are some details:

Outgoing packets:
Source port: 5120-5129
Destination port: 5121-5300

Incoming packets:
Source port: 5121-5300
Destination port: 5120-5129

On the Game Client side, you can select what port your client uses. Go to
your nwnplayer.ini file in your NWN Client Beta install directory. Find the
following section:

[Profile]
Client Port=5120

Change this number if you need to force Neverwinter Nights to connect as a
client on a different port.

If you want to get a server listing via GameSpy, you’ll need additional
ports to be open: 6667, 80, 27900, 28900, 29900, 29901, 13139, 6500
