I got leadership on a level up and it states that you can have up to 6 party members at once... so I go to the sunken flagon after getting qara and leave and it only allows me to pick three instead of five for my party????... is this trait broken and I have to start over which I don't mind or am I missing something??? please advise.....

Leadership only works in the Storm of Zehir campaign. The feat does nothing in the OC or MotB.

I'd recommend using the debug console to re-select your feat. The easiest way is to subtract XP (thus leveling down your character) then add the XP back to select a different feat on level-up.
