I have been playing for a week now and i logged in today and it wouldnt let me. It said cd key in use plz try again in 5 min. I have already requested the cd key and extracted it into nwn.

have you tried restarting your computer? I believe that is what fixes it for more people. If not have you run the .exe file that can be found when clicking on the game's box under My account? If neither of those work, I would recommend waiting a bit, I think this is a relatively common problem for people if their game does not properly exit.

Did you request your multi-player keys?

Hi. Im having this problem too (cd key in use waith for 5 min and try again). And waiting 5 minutes dont work. This problem isnt related to any nwn persistent world because it happens to all that i try enter. I could play sometimes, but frequently this problem happens. And sometimes i goot booted from the persistent world and i have not been banned. So, anyone can help? G.O.G please? Bioware?

When you loose your connection to the server you're on, it doesn't always release the key information back to the master authentication server.

Therefore, when you try to connect again, the master authentication server sees that the last time it was updated, your keys were in use on-line.

So you get the message you're getting.

Usually, re-starting your computer helps. Or it seems about after 5 minutes or so the keys are released.

Something that has worked for me Is to log back into the server that did not release my keys correctly. So if I am playing on say 'The Tarmish Lands' server. and it crashes my Keys do not get released from the master server correctly. When trying to log onto another server I get the dreaded message. If the server I was playing on resets(shows back up on game spy), I can normally log back into it then log back out to get my CD-keys released from the master server. If the server I was playiong does not show back up on GameSpy There is just really no option but to wait for the master server to do its house keeping and free your CD-key in good time.

Well, i cant log back to "release" my cd-key. I logged out correctly and still this dread message appears. In fact, this G.O.G NWN is my second one. I never have this problem with my first one, never. Why just "G.O.G cd-key" would have this? So its been very hard to play with my nephil. Is the cd-keys from G.O.G new ones or the supposed "not used" in long time?

gog does not resell old keys if thats what your saying, they get new ones. This is a common problem with both retail and gog keys, the fact that you did not have the problem before just means you were lucky. I've had this problem many times with both retail and keys from gog.

this may be just me but my problem was with the .ini file

.ini file There are more then one ini file. Do you mean the one with your CD-Keys in it? The one you replace with the new keys that GOG sends you?
