Hi all,

I’m encountering a rather annoying bug at the moment where when characters equip certain armour (such as the starting rogue kit), large black cubes with red question marks on the faces appear on the character models.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Many thanks in advance!

What game are we talking about? NWN Diamond Edition, NWN Enhanced Edition or NWN2? For start I'd try to experiment with different graphics drivers. You can also try switching on the compatibility mode (Win XP SP2). Are you using GOG Galaxy? Turning off GOG Overlay can help with some graphics problems.

Thanks for that Sarafan - I’m talking about NWN2; sorry, should have made that clear. How do you change graphic drivers? I’ll give compatibility mode a go!

What graphics card do you have? Follow this guide to check it: https://www.howtogeek.com/414201/how-to-check-what-graphics-card-gpu-is-in-your-pc/.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M. The compatibility mode change did not work, and I've disabled the overlay. There is still no change, unfortunately.

Try the newest drivers: https://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/157151. Maybe it'll help. Just download the file and run it. Your screen might flicker a little when the drivers are installed. Don't worry about that. If it doesn't help you might experiment with older drivers which you can find here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-nvidia-geforce-vista-%7C-7.html. Pick something from the 39x.xx series for example. If the issues still persist you might consider contacting GOG Support: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us. They'll certainly try to help you. :)

*Bump*

Sorry, I'm still having this issue, and I have followed the steps above. I have now attached an image to show what I am talking about on the character. Does anyone have any ideas or ways to solve this?
