I like rogues because I like the whole idea of sneaking around and getting into places you're not supposed to. Oh, and sneak attacking unsuspecting foes. Nothing wrong with spell casting classes. The first time I beat SOU and HOTU I played through it with a sorcerer, but I prefer sticking to the shadows like a rogue, even though they may not be as powerful as mages or sorcerers.

Check out Honor Among Thieves.
The best rogue module out there IMO, your mileage may wary.
Also see other stuff by Baldecaran.
The Cave of Songs -> Honor Among Thieves -> Prophet works as a series levelswise and storywise, although it's not in any way necessary to play them as a series. I did though, and had plenty fun with a Rogue/Ranger.
Cave of songs is kind of a weak link but an ok module nevertheless. Prophet is stunningly great.

I really like this module. Currently documenting my progress on another forum.
It's very, long, and really showed how much game companies put less effort on DLC content while charging ten dollars for it.
I wasn't expecting 40+ hours of gameplay, but I've gone 2 weeks full gaming on this and hav yet to see the end!

Oh boy, I've never realised how handy a cleric trickery domain might be. Whenever going with a cleric, I always go straight to good, war, or such domains! Powerful undead turning and stuff. I'll have to try that out sometime, Invisibility and knock!
Can't remember what I did this with, rogue for sure.. maybe 50-50 ranger. Probably ended up a shadowdancer. Also ended up with less evil points, a bit more gold and a sore butt.

I started it, met Vico, quit, fumed, thought about uninstalling the game and mayhap sanitizing my HD with fire, then googled to see if that filthy disgusting piece of rotten trashmaggot was killable and how painfully. Not as painfully as I expected, but with him being killable confirmed, I went in - and was pleasantly surprised how really good the module was. All the smut seems a bit over the top at first, but since it's as cheesy and funny as German porn from the seventies, it soon becomes so amusing it actually gives additional flavour rather than robbing from the really good rogue-oriented aspect. :-)
Alas, got hit by some a bunch of bugs and never finished it. Will have to, some day - I still have a score to settle with a certain lowlife corpseworm.

According to the description the adult scenes are pretty much the erotic fantasies of the author. I think it's possible to play through most of the module whilst staying chaste, but it does require skipping some of the sidequests.
I've almost reached the end of part one - very enjoyable experience, although pretty frustrating at early levels, especially if you don't realise the catsuit looks suspicious to guards (*cough*). Kind of buggy, and often vague in specifying quest parameters, but that's what console commands are for. Crashes my laptop all the time, too.
No idea if I'll be able to sleep after witnessing the threesome in Ravenstower, though. Now there's something I wish she hadn't shared with us.
