Prizes for the North Americans: Just makes me want it, even if I normally would not.
Or, tempts me into wanting of making my own community contest, for everybody *but* those from the Northern Part of America. Then I realise, that would be cruel, like the 'mega-corp' Joystiq is :)

JayPeeGee: Who let you out of the snickers factory? Get back to work, I need my Nikes

Um, they're made in Pakistan. Now get back to work and serve my poutine.

The weird thing is that on rare occasions, we get BETTER competitions. There was one xbox one a few months back for some new game (maybe gears 2) where the american contest has a prize of a few thousand bucks and a TV whereas ours had more money, a tv and a car. Thats the good kind of discrimination but, to quote bender, this is the worst kind of discrimination, the kind that affects me!
Well except that I don't want the game anyway so I don't really care, especially with semi-regular contests on GOG that members have a far higher chance of winning because of less exposure...
