Afternoon all!

I was wondering if one of my old favourite games would ever be coming to Good Old Games..

Hidden and Dangerous 2 (And it's expansion, Sabre Squadron).

I'm very supprised I havent seen it on here yet as it was a complete classic game and one you could spend hours on (Like I did al them years ago). I do still own both copies of the games on disc, all five discs of it, but it's a right head ache installing them, finding patches and having the added bonus of running on Windows 7.

Anyone have any ideas if it will happen? ;)

Ah, erm, heh, you can tell I dont visit the forums here much :P

I never even knew there was a game request section. Hopefully though It'll happen! It'd be a day one purchase from me! :)

I've only ever played the first, which I found really hard,

And since this bumped my memory, for anyone interested, the first one was realised for free as a promotion for the second.

Blimey, I remember playing that on the Dreamcast many moons ago, for some reason I could never get into it. I think I've still got it floating around somewhere. Thanks for that link though. I shall have a go and see if i can get it working on Windows 7 for old times sake :)

I vaguely recall playing the first one, and finding it frustrating(it crashed a lot or something along those lines)

Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe worked fine on Windows 8 so shouldn't be a problem on Windows 7.

Note that the game's setup tool detects widescreen resolutions but using them will result in everything being stretched (resulting in fat characters etc.). 4:3 resolutions have the correct aspect ratio.

I played it too. I actually managed to beat it, but by the end of the game I was convinced that "Hidden & Dangerous" referred to the Germans rather than the player's squad.

According to Wikipedia, Take Two ought to have the rights to these games, so we won't see them here until that company comes aboard. =\

I bought and enjoyed the original but never got a chance to play the second one, so I'm also hoping the games will be made available again.

I actually own this game which I found pretty frustrating myself, of course that's no reason not to have it here. I'll give it a vote for good karma.
