It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Why? I can't enter Youtube from Turkey because it's blocked. And it's been blocked for a month now. You can read more about the situation from here:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/27/google-youtube-ban-turkey-erdogan

Our government blocked Twitter too but a court lifted the ban.

Since all the videos on GOG are from Youtube, I try to watch the videos from other gaming sites like Steam and Desura (They don't link the videos to Youtube!). For example, in order to watch the video from Consortium, I used Steam. How ironic is that? GOG should consider storing the videos within their website.

If you use Firefox, you could try the ProxMate plug-in, which was recently suggested to me in order to automatically unblock blocked YouTube videos in Germany. No idea if using it could get you in trouble, but for me it's working.

Doesn't answer your general question, but maybe it could help as a workaround in your case?

In short, it's easier and cheaper I'm willing to bet. Gotta suck being blocked like that.

Thanks for the suggestion, Leroux. I tried the plug-in, but unfortunately it didn't work. I use proxy every now and then, but it's a temporary solution really. I should not need to use an additional program to see a content on GOG. And Youtube is not only blocked in Turkey. In China it's banned too. Wikl has a nice page about the censorship of Youtube:

It's easier and cheaper, no doubt about that. However, it's not a good approach for GOG when we know that its competitors (like Steam and Desura) do not link their video content.

Maybe in the revisions of the site that they seem to be talking on and off about they'll add their own videos or something like that. It would definitely look much nicer and professional, unless it streams slower or doesn't work quite right. That would be bad.
This seems like something you'll have to take up with your government.

If they tried to ban youtube here people would storm parliament!
