cogadh: Patience, I've got, but some of the stuff I've seen lately makes even my 12 year old son comment on the lack of maturity. I just hope it doesn't take too long for things to settle down some and at the same time we end up with really cool new members.

DarrkPhoenix: Just think of it as training for when your son fully gets into his teens. ;)

At least he's a boy and not a girl. From what I hear, teenage girls are much harder to deal with. That kind of patience, I don't have.
Who let the dogs out again?
They made off with my arms, legs, and body!
Dogs they see a lich then run off with everything but your head thinking its a bone.
Flame all you like , but I've just spent my spare cash on Steam instead of here ....... so go figure ..... *** sigh ***
and btw I have bought loads of games here on GOG , but I just got 5 Xcom games on Steam for £2 , got Psyconauts for £1
Steam have midweek deals and weekend deals, so if GOG want grab a bigger slice of the pie they need to compete with Steam even if only a little.
And dont forget the there are more old games appearing on Steam all the time .

1. See? Everyone's spoiled by the Steam sales. :( *just got X-COM and Freedom Force myself*
2. True, I'd like to see more DD stores chasing rights to old games; that'll only make GOG strive to be better and more competitive.
3. Everyone here is a little bit sensitive with the accusation that 'no weekend deal = GOG is slacking as a business,' as usually we already got awesome stuffs a few days before ;)

I like Steam and have been using it for along time, but since finding GOG , it has got me really into playing all the old classics again, I have owned nearly all the games on the GOG list at some time or other.
Despite that and Steam being very good , I would still rather spend my money on a cool site like GOG and I have always supported the smaller companies , even when I mostly got my games from retail shops I would seek out the best indie stores .

That's okay, I spiked their little watering hole near the entrance that is Fort GOG with cyanide. It'll be over in about an hour.
Did you use Sodium or Potassium, or Hydrogen?
I'd be worried that the water would have that smell... and they wouldnt drink it... perhaps we could toss some vanilla extract or some form of spice to get them to go for it.....
Steam isn't really a direct competitor. I wouldn't even pay £2 for the Xcom games on Steam because I know how little they care about supporting their games. Loads of people had trouble with X Com Apocalypse on Steam for example. You wouldn't have such a problems here on GOG.
