Though even if I did take note of commercials, we have almost no videogame commercials here at all. About the most you'll get is a quick mention of a bunch of console games on sale at JB hifi or the like.

Only videogame commercial i can think of having seen was a COD ghosts teaser in the cinema when i saw Man of Steel (which made it look like it'd be some sort of ancient warfare mashup like a 'deadliest warrior' game...)

I don't get it. Console gamers were never breastfed? :)

If you mean TV commercials: I think it has always been mostly an US thing, at least for PC games. The only PC game TV commercial I remember seeing here were some World of Warcraft (expansion) commercials. All others have been console game commercials, like Call of Duty and such.

It will probably heat up again when the new consoles come out.

Not my favorite per see but perhaps the most memorable: The Wii console launch commercials.
