I originaly joined this site in the beta stage because of the $5.99 price point. Now it seems that any game is now $9.99. I own a lot of these games already. I no longer feel the need to buy them for the extras that I can find on the net. I can find a patch that negates the problem of DRM. Just a thought, I still plan on buying a lot of games from GOG but will wait till the price drops to $5.99. This is still a good alternative for older games, being older myself. (50)
Keep up the good work GOG
hey I found them
Seriously though, put confirmation bias aside for a second and look at the facts:
Of the twenty most recently-added games, 65% of them are $5.99, and 30% of them are $9.99 (the remaining 5% is Teen Agent, which is free).
To say "any game is now $9.99" is utter bollocks. There are more than twice as many games at the cheaper price point than at the higher one.

Yep, what frostcircus said.
And another thing. Even if you already own many of the games on catalogue, others don't. And for them, the chance to buy an old game with extras, working on XP/Vista without any hassle, 100% DRM free for $9.99 is still a very sweet deal.
And bypassing (some forms of) DRM it's not the same as not having DRM installed on your machine.
I consider it a convenience fee. Messing around with games to get them at a playable state can be fun, but sometimes you just want to play.
What just pisses me off about GOG is not the price (I find it very reasonable, give what you're getting out of it), is for example Ghost Recon doesn't have the expansion packs, even for an extra fee. I wish the games sold here would have everything that you would find on say, Steam. It's not fair to only have one part of the whole experience.
well they can't sell what they don't have the rights to. Presumably ubi said no
Probably testing the service out, if they see it as popular and profitable enough, and GOG manage the rights, we may see it.
Steam has what, 15 million users (or accounts at least), and they are well established. Ubisoft joining is a good thing, even if we don't have everything yet.
I know how you feel though. I'm a bit of a completist.

Maybe I'm missing something, but Steam doesn't sell the GR games with the expansions included either, they are only sold separately. As for GOG not having those, Splinter Cell isn't listed on the site as available or coming soon, yet it has been mentioned by GOG staff in interviews as one of the Ubi games coming to GOG. It is reasonable to assume that there are other Ubi games coming that are not listed on the site and they haven't told us about yet, possibly including the GR expansions.

They sell a pack with all the Ghost Recons and the expacks included. And I didn't really care if it was bundled, at least Steam sells the expansions as well. GOG doesn't even do that.

GOG doesn't do that ... yet. Like I said, we already know they have other Ubi games in the pipeline that have not been announced on the site yet, I really wouldn't be surprised to see the GR expansions show up as a combo pack eventually. Considering Steam sells them at $4.99 each, a combo pack of them would fall nicely into the GOG $9.99 price point.
BTW - I knew about the "Tom Clancy Everything Pack" Steam sells, but I didn't think you could possibly expect something like that from GOG.

I'm really hoping for the second PoP and the Myst lot.
Sorry all the $5.99 games are currently out of stock...

I'm with you on the Myst lot. I have them all but i would definitely get them all from GOG. URU CC would also be great even if the price tag was slightly above the current $9.99 ceiling.
