RaggieRags: Are you interested in Blu-Ray? PS3 is a good BR player.
Does anyone know if the PS3 play 3D blurays?
Well, it depends - are there many PS3 games you're interested in? Also, take a look at how much those cost as well, so you don't go over budget.

So, a recent patch to add the feature. I am glad, I do not regret purchasing my standalone Bluray player a few months ago.

On serious note you need to determine what kind of electronic you use most. I found my tablet to be pretty useful since I travel a lot. But as time goes by I realize the limitations of tablet start to show it ugly face. Even though I can fix that by buying a portable keyboard and a controller.

Of course a short time later my tablet's USB OTG went bust :/

Yeah I know I want to play GTA 5, The Last of Us, and Dark Souls (Though I could just play on PC if I get a good enough computer) and maybe some other ones but can't remember right now but I know at least 2 of those are around $50-60 and Dark Souls I can get for $20 so if I got all it would be a bit pricey though I don't know how much I will have left over yet when I get paid.

Yeah I think I would use both equally but the PS3 more at home and the Tablet more at school so it's kinda hard to choose since I can use my school's computer to do stuff like I am doing right now.

If you want to you can always carry a super portable palm sized bluetooth keyboard so you can alter your documents in your tablet easily. A good 7 or 8 inch tablet and a small keyboard in your bag will make you pretty flexible.
