Hey there,
I'm just wondering who else uses voice commands in games? I do and a few of my friends are looking at me a little weird just because I occasionally say "Alpha wing: Disable Target" or "Stay on Target" or occasionally "Run you miserable bastards!"
I've be using Game Commander to do voice commands in Freespace. Essentially Game Commander puts key presses to a sound ie: "Oh shit we're all going to die" presses Keys "C" and "6" to summon reinforcements. I don't use this one very often.
I've given some thought to trying this with Crysis also. "Armour" "Cloak" "Speed" etc if Crysis allows for quick selection of suit-functions.
So anyone else do this also?

The only game I've used voice commands in has been Unreal Tournament 2004. It added a lot of fun. If Game Commander works well, this'll give me a great excuse to break out the early Rainbow Six games again.
Seriously, I just want the ability to be the one who says "Alpha: Go." (though it occurs to me that I'll have to listen to my in-game character repeat my words; maybe I can mod that out somehow).

PLEASE GOD DON'T MAKE THIS COMPULSORY FOR SOME GAMES!!!
I'm deaf and I still owned at UT (the original and best) instaGib... Man bring these days back... Nah that option is sadly redundant for me, although it'd be awesome if I could use the eyetoy for these kinda commands (you do realise you can use eyetoys for webcams? They're actually better than most of the webcams out there!)
