that would be great
The wishlist is that way.
Though you may be lucky and have it arrive in the next few weeks, depending on White Wolf's stance on selling a game using the world and RPG ruleset licensed from them here.

Well they were fine with it on steam
Yeah, I don't see there being any issue with selling it here given that it's already being sold elsewhere. Same with AVP 2000. The problem with licenses are when the publisher of said title no longer holds the associated license(s). Given that Activision are still selling Bloodlines that shouldn't be a problem.

I don't check steam, they could be selling word processors and vector drawing applications for all I know.
The question I would have is: Does the Steam version of VTM:B work with the community patch (never used Steam before)? And, the follow up: would the GOG version work with said patch (never tried unofficial patches with GOG games before)? I ask because there is a guy that has been releasing a new patch ('mod' would be more apt, since he has done so much) for the game every couple of months for a few years.

steam versions works
also, the retail version does not require steam
also, if this game came, I know many people who would buy it, without question or regard to their wallet.
It'll come. It's very probably one of the upcoming Activision games, in fact.

Dang straight. I would. I lent my copy to my cousin a few years back, and he lost the CDs. I had to resort to using a less-than-legal copy to replay the game a while back, so it would be nice to be able to repurchase it here for good measure. At least I kept the soundtrack CD; I love that thing.
EDIT: Rephrased, because I really don't want to get into another argument about me disrespecting GOG by even remotely telling people how to get an illegal crack of the game.

Yes.
I played it without any patches and it wasn't very fun. The visual style was unappealing, and the combat wasn't very good. If there is a patch that makes the game absolutely amazing, I'll take five.

The fan made patches are really good, I hear.

aliasalpha claims the community patch sucks and causes more problems than it resolves. I'm not sure what to make of it.
I may wait til its "complete" to try it.

No, it doesn't SUCK, it helps a lot of things but SOME versions of it introduced things that sucked like hard vacuum.
One version almost completely broke stealth (the opposite way to the broken stealth in the full game), in retail 1.2 with maximum stealth training, you could bump or stab people whilst invisible and noone would notice you but in one version of the community patch you could be using obfuscate in the shadows and be spotted half a map away. Stealth was broken either way but at least in the retail (and some of the community patches) it was useably broken
The truly unforgiveable one was in the kuei-jin temple with infinite respawning enemies, that was in for a very long time and I've heard that it's been fixed now but I've not played the game since and since its right near the end of the game it's a hell of a kick in the balls if it happens again
So, this "community patch"... please enlighten me on whether it fixes the known memory leak issue with VTM Bloodlines.
