One of my colleagues showed me this yesterday: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/02/18/the-haste-of-paradise-bounty-arms/. The game looks amazing, albeit somewhat difficult (I am not a fan of insane jumping puzzles). It's a side scrolling platformer, but with movement in the third dimension as well. Kind of 2.8D. And it looks hilarious. I so want a gun with a pneumatic boxing glove on the end :-D
