Hi all,
Anyone know of any games (or developers of such) that we in the US might not have heard of? I am looking for something in the Action / RPG genre or anything that is interesting and different that you guys on the other side of the pond might be hiding. Also, anygames with a Polish voiceover and or text would be great since I am originally from Poland and looking to improve on my Polish through my favorite medium.

Well, Europe has a strong component of adventure games, but since that is not your genre, on top of my head I could recommend a few gems (to me at least) from Russia:
-Paradise Cracked (Old school type RPG, akin to jagged alliance and such)
-Cops: The Power of Law (More or less a continuation from Paradise Cracked)
-Pathologic: First person survival game, great great story
-Tension/Turgor: First person something (can't really define a genre for it), at the moment there are only releases in Russian and polish, soon to be release world wide (or so we hope :D ). Just to finish tension is one of the best games I played in a few years, the environments and attention to detail is just awe inspiring.

The traduction team did a terrible job on this one. :(

True, I admit to that, but there is currently a fan translation project going on the whole game.

Czech - Mafia (Atari), Operation Flashpoint (Bohemia Interactive, I think), Jets'n'Guns (don't know who :D Oldschool!)
Slovak - Chaser (Goooooooood FPS)
Errr... That's all I can think of :D

Also, you should try the Penumbra series (Swedish), they are AMAZING!

there was that S.A.S game that was highly challnging to say the least

Loki is a an action/rpg from french developer cyanide studio. Its not of the same caliber as Diablo but if you really enjoy action rpg games it is fun. It starts off very hard but once you gain some levels and get some items you will be carving your way through swarms of enemies.
I'd advise trying the demo out before you get the full game though.
