Why not buy a new one? The prices are a bit iffy right now due to the recent floods in Thailand, but in Americaland you should have been able to get about half a terabye for about 30-40 dollars beforehand. And smaller HDDs went for a lot less than that.

crazy_dave: Actually I haven't - I've played the console versions of 1 and 3 - was 2 for the PC really that bad?
Even the Xbox version was dated on release. Compared with what was current in 2004 (not even going to 2007, when the PC version was released...), that game offered absolutely nothing new and made several steps back even compared to Halo 1. Halo 1 was a nice, not to bad game that was massively overhyped. Halo 2 was bad game that received even more hype. Honestly, I really tried to like it and finish it (I'm quite the achievement whore), I just couldn't stand it any more. That being said, I also played three when it came out and didn't really like that either.

I sometimes like to crank up some of the oldies I grew up with, even though I've played them through a number of times. Doom, U.S. Navy Fighters GOLD, Falcon 3.0, Unreal, Command & Conquer and Duke Nukem 1 (see my avatar for a piece of awesomeness) are good examples.

The Football Manager series. I don't like football at all yet I gave one of the games a try one day. After a few days I got rid of it and then 2 days later I want to play it again and again >.< And I still don't like football.

Dell Optiplex 247 USFF. No room for adding anything at all. But as soon as I have a little bit of extra money (which you can help by buying my game...hint hint :3), I'll invest in building a proper gaming rig.
The more I'm playing it, the more it's growing on me in a weird way. Don't know why, because it's easily as frustrating as Far Cry in some areas (the jungle levels...ugh).
