With Ign suspected of being corrupt and gamespot typically being biased, which is the best site? I'd prefer writing than videos as my monthly internet limit (another reason of why I being put off Gamespot.)

Well what's your favourite? Or the perks and disadvantages of the popular ones? (If you're bothered :P)

I mostly see Joystiq for its more conviniant way of posting news.
I only go to PC Gamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun these days since I don't plan on buying a new console any time soon. I like RPS because their reviews don't have a number score arbitrarily tacked on, which means no one bitching about the score not matching the writing. They also post about weird games like Catlateral Damage and other Unity games, which I think is pretty cool.

PC Gamer has a lot of articles on older games which I like.
I don't read any of them.

I tired that, lagged behind in gaming news really quickly though.

There are only 2 sources I use - Level, which is a magazine we have here in Romania, and GOG . That's all you need.
elder geek is pretty good for review, of all the review i have seen only 2 to 3 i found biased, thats was probably based on their geeky reasons, other then that their taste in games falls similar to mine. use gamespot or ign to check out upcoming games, and gog fourm does that too

I use this forum and the Steam forums to determine if a game is worth buying or not. I don't trust reviews from people who write reviews for a living because I'm sure those people get bribed or threatened.
