Shame I'm not a good enough programmer, I'd make it myself. Even if it wasn't 1st person, a simple 3rd person one with a basic crusader no remorse style graphics would do quite nicely and probably be more fun to watch since you could scroll and see the rest of the team
I could probably draw up a full design doc but without knowing a LOT more programming than I can do and having some form of artistic ability thats not photography or writing, it'd be impossible to DIY it

Shoelip: Clancy is being raped. He's being given lots of money for nothing but his dignity.

Considering what his last few books have been like, Clancy is doing a good enough job of that himself which is a shame because up until executive orders, his books were unputdownable.
Can one really rape oneself? Apart from the contortion, wouldn't the "I'm going to have sex" decision work both ways?
Yeah executive orders had a sort of magic wand "hey my major character is suddenly completely in charge of everything" feel to it. That said I thought Rainbow Six was a really interesting book and that was 2 years later

JudasIscariot: Only Tom Clancy game I liked was Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory; the other ones slipped under my radar.

For the first Splinter Cell, Ubisoft added the "Tom Clancy's" at the very last minute. Clancy's never seen one little part of the game.
I wonder why you all seem so surprised about that. The name "Tom Clancy" is nothing more that a licence, a name bring to sell a game. I'm sur that Tom Clancy himself doesn't really know on which game his name has been used, he must have a staff made to "take care" of his licence...

Can't say much about Clancy, his books (and the plots in the related games) seem a bit cheesy. But I can say I'm playing Rainbow SIx 3, and enjoying the heck out of it. Vegas may be more tactical than most shooters, but it is far and away less tactical than the series has been, and that's what fans don't like.
Real tactical shooters are getting to be rare beasts, and given the glut of traditional shooters, I fail to see why Ubisoft is trying to lose itself in that genre's sea of mediocrity
