hansschmucker: Thanx, updated first post with what we have so far.

Just FYI: The rights to Marathon belong to Bungie.
An interview with O'donnell from Bungie
Here is a quote:
O'Donnell: We have Marathon again by the way.
8bitjoystick: Marathon XBLA!
O'Donnell: Not only that but it is our IP. So I would just say in the next five years Bungie, we don't want to do licensed titles and anything we do in the Halo universe does not feel like a licensed title since we feel like it is still our baby. We will see what happens with that, it is something that would probably need to be negotiated and so forth but when it comes to new IP that is the reason we went independent. We feel like we just do a lot better when we know we have a greater amount of creative control and even business control over the stuff we create.
Just thought you'd like to know: You have The marathon IP as either MS or Bungie. It is totally Bungie's and (my Guess) is what they will be using in the future for "halo" like games.

Yay, that's what I thought. It be tight if they made a sequel...as long as it wasn't just a Halo clone.

Being owned by Microsoft I doubt they will make anything for the Mac.
I thought that Bungie separated from Microsoft after Halo 3 was completed.
They did. Microsoft still owns Halo, though.
Im sure most of us know that DMA Design (Lemmings series) are now know as Rockstar North; part of Rockstar Games. Which is owned by Take-Two Interactive.
I wonder if the IP rights to Lemmings actually were actually turned over to Take Two... the last few Lemmings games were developed by Team17, but only released for Sony consoles. And Sony is/was the owner of Psygnosis, which (if I remember correctly) published Lemmings. I think this is worth investigating...
Hmm,found a little something:

This is the back cover of the Lynx version, which was apparently licensed from Psygnosis, not DMA.
