wow that is a blast from the bast. Well done GoG this is truelly one of those retro classics that is just as enjoyable now as it was when it first came out.

No, seriously, this is an absolute classic. Go find some gameplay videos or something. Oh, and read about it on Wikipedia.
It was very popular in Europe and was ported to almost every format available at the time, the contraversial video did a lot for it sales. Don't know if it was released in America or Japan, though.
It was the only reason i didn't get rid of my Amiga.
It is a lot of fun, just be prepared to start tearing your hair out after mission 7 as it gets really frustrating.
So THAT'S why GOG didn't want to announce their big publisher announce today...
Interesting. Though I've never played Cannon Fodder, I might as well... it sounds fun...
Ahh, more games to buy when I get the cash...

cannon was [url=www.mobygames.com/game/cannon-fodder]released[/url] in US for PC , GBC and Atari JAGUAR (maybe more platforms...)
if you missed that one i belive you should give it a try :)
