It doesn't look bad. But I hope that it doesn't fall into the same pitfalls that Forged Alliance did. It just became a boring chore after a while. But Demigod was a step back in the right direction (lack of content aside). The video does have some Demigod influences about it. I'll wait and see, I think.
Bloody near married the first one, after all what's wrong with controlling tons and tons of robots around? Nothing at all, that's what.
Too many good games next year to play, too little time and money to play them all.
Damn that looks good. I only regret that it will have DRM up its arse so I can't play it.
Gave me a real feel of good ole Total Annihilation though, and made clear again why Taylor's stuff is so far ahead of the competition even a dozen years after his real trajectories were launched.

It's just probably going to be Impulse.

Hopefully, but I doubt it. It's going to be published by Square-Enix and there are no games from them on Impulse.
UI is looking awesome. I hate first one's UI but game was great. I can't wait for it but they add features from Demigod I hope they will be good. Also Square-Enix is working with Valve, I think it will use Steamworks.

That wouldn't be too bad either. I'd prefer Impulse though.

SC and SC:FA had SecuROM which was removed by the first patch. All you really needed to be able to do was install it.
I am definitely going to get this, though I'm also definitely not going to upgrade my computer to get it.

I hope not.I will not buy it then(especially,if it will require Steam just as DoW II. or ETW or MW2 )
Yes, it would be bad for Steam haters...

well, i would prefer it if this will be distributed by steam rather than this stupid little client you had to run to play online or download patches for supreme commander.
I'm rooting for a classic retail release, but I imagine that won't be the case. I've really enjoyed the first one and after watching the game play videos for the second one I'm interested. I'm really looking forward to seeing some updated videos once more polish has been applied (videos have an "alpha" tag on them).

Last I checked, Forged Alliance still had SecuROM on it. Both games had SecuROM for quite a while, even if FA finally doesn't have it now.
Unfortunately, that can be pretty devastating to an RTS, a genre in which you either establish a big thriving and expanding base of people playing online successfully, or your game vanishes no matter how good it really is or what patches do to it later.
Neither SC nor SC : FA still has any DRM...it was patched out of both.
