snowkatt: i personally dont give a good god damn about the "social"aspect of steam
i only care about the sales and the fact that most pc games are steam bound

if the social aspect of steam drops dead tomorrow i wont notice it let alone miss it
but im probably one of the few there

misteryo: Did you realize that by utilizing the social aspects of Steam, you could connect with other players that feel the same way you do! Check out these Steam social circles: I Hate Social Media, Everyone Is Different Except Me, and Don't You Dare Contact Me Over the Web You Creep. If none of those appeal to you, you can still earn badges to display your antisocial tendencies to the world! Check out the I've Never Posted A Single Comment badge and the Why Would I Share A Screenshot With You? badge!
do they also have an i dont care about badges badge ?
Seems good for non-drm/GOG games but it can be redundant for most users since you can organize your games in Steam and Windows 8.x Start Screen does the same also.

You're right, but if you're not a steam/origin user and would like to have all your games organized but with the possibility of customize the covers, backgrounds, profiles etc...,this is just what SSiVER offers you.
SSiVER allow you to add any game to the library, whether installed on the computer games as games that are not currently installed.

Also you can add any kind of games.... games for Steam, Origin, Desura and of course GOG, you also can add old games, emulators etc ...

While you have an executable is perfectly possible to add the game to the library, in the case of Steam also allowed links Steam.

Initially the program works offline, only requires connection to download information and as I said currently has no social interaction.

If anyone have a request please let me know it.

Thanks... :-D !!
this would have been a great thing to use say in 2004 or pre 1999 but no offense to be honest but , in today's world of gaming where each store has its own client and own library management including gog's own galaxy . Not sure of what is the benefit of running another client and another piece of software poking into your purchased games history + hogging up your memory.

Unless if your manager had a benefit that would help out the game added to it say like allow hosting of multiplayer games aka hamachi , gameranger or as people mentioned a social aspect .Or boost game performance like some software that claim to do so.

It pretty much a outdated concept specially for gog , steam , origin , uplay and what not users because all of them provide more than enough to manage games purchased , screenshots , game pics and what not.

I think you would have much more appreciation or good feedback if you posted it else where like abandonware sites.

It looks pretty nice indeed. I will still use Launchbox, as it offers better support for emulators (I guess), but it really looks like an interesting alternative.
I didn't know it.

It looks great.

Thanks for comment it.
Thanks for bumping the thread, I missed it back in September/October, and this is definitely something I'd be interested in checking out. I've searched for a good tool to organize my games for years (see for example this old thread and this one), and so far the best solution I've come up with is a combination of my own, manually built GCStar collection to archive all games I own and the Win8 metro screen customized with OblyTiles for an overview of all games installed. Even though I'm quite pleased with the results, both methods require a lot of work and aren't exactly future proof (GCStar for example already dropped support for the Windows version, despite it still suffering from a few bugs and insufficiencies).

I also tried adding non-Steam games to Steam once but I thought it too roundabout and time consuming when trying to add a whole lot of them, customization options not attractive enough, and you can only add games that are installed. So, I don't know how hard it is to do, but I think what could make your program stand out are features like these:

- a very easy and comfortable way to add several games at the same time, e.g. via Drag and Drop of desktop shortcuts or by importing all selected desktop shortcuts (as opposed to selecting each of them on its own)

- the possibility to integrate links to games that are already using a different client like Steam, Origin, Uplay

- a combination of archiving all owned games (whether installed or not) and allowing to separately list and start all installed games

- customizable categories and tags

- a portable version of the program, and no internet connection required for using it (apart from manually importing covers and such)
