I've noticed the improvement made to how updates work. The nice filter on the games page is awesome and was much needed.

I still feel we have one more step to go though, and want to point everyone to this existing request:

There might be a better way to handle this, but I know I have "cleared" updates while not able to download the updates and when I want to go and play catchup, the system can't tell me what I have missed. I'd like a very simple sort by last update (or some other mechanism that allows me to see what I still need to download when the time comes).

An alternative might be a toggle that only clears the update notification when I select it to be cleared?
