Theatrical Performance Episode #37: When The Thief Sells Out
I knew one day I was going to regret holding off buying the Thief compilation from SOS

TheJoe: Sold Out are defunct now I think - replaced by Mastertronic.
Anyway, their releases are good. The packagings not great but it's not crap either. My shelf here is full of their re-released titles. Go for it.

lowyhong: NO!!! SHIT NO!!!!!!
DAMN IT! I just checked out their website and realised they'd removed the Thief compilation. WHY THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has totally put my mood into the dumps...

Don't worry, I'm sure GoG will pick up Thief up soon. It's classic.

What a coincidence. I was just thinking of going to download it!
Back on topic, it's too bad that a lot of older games can't be bought from SOS anymore
Well I have bought lots of games from sold out but this is one story I always share.
I bought Medieval Total war from Game along with 2 other sold out games some years ago. They were buy 3 for £10. The M:TW disk became scratched in the case after about 12 months, a grain of something was trapped between the disk and the case. Just an unlucky accident and nothing to do with sold out. Well, for some weird reason I decided to email them and see if I could get a new copy for the price of the disk and postage, I mean I had spent £3.33 on this this after all :) I explained that the product was in no way faulty and it was just an accident.
Anyway they asked me to post the old disk to them, it cost about 25p and they shipped me a new disk free of charge!!
Now that is customer service.
