Hello, everybody. I've been a regular customer over here at Good Old Games, and i already bought and played a couple of games i remembered from my childhood. Now, my wishlist still holds a couple of games, but all of them are too sophisticated for my ancient PC (a Fujitsu-Siemens with Windows XP and a crappy graphics card FIY) to handle. Now, i've shelled out most of my savings and finally got me a sorta state-of-the-art gaming laptop, which has already proven itself worthy by running Treasure Adventure Game and Warsow like a stick of butter sliding across an oiled counter (that means they both ran very smoothly).

So with that, my lappy's primed for gaming action, my PayPal is charged and my fingers are itching. But there's one thing that's stopping me: Where the heck should i begin? No, really! The remaining games on my wishlist seem so awesome to me that i can't seem to pick which one i should go for first.

Here is my wishlist so far. From least recent addition to most recent:
Deponia
Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia
Psychonauts
The Blackwell Bundle
Beyond Good & Evil
HammerWatch

Which one should i start with best?
If this query can't be considered a "question/problem" topic, feel free to ask the mods/admin to change it, if that's possible.

I can only say about The Blackwell Bundle

Those are great, after playing all of them, I'll buy next part day one.

There is a problem with your wishlist,

It lacks some excellent games, such as:

PS:T
Fallouts 1, 2 & tactics
Driftmoon
Sacrifice (this one is added on behalf of another user)
Hammerwatch is a lot of fun in multiplayer, but I don't think I would play it alone.

I second all of those (even if I'm not the 'other user') and would like to add Reus, King of Dragon Pass, and the Age of Wonders series from the current sale if you're looking for reduced cost goodies.
Opinions and preferences are completely subjective, but from your wishlist I'd start with Beyond Good & Evil. Really a very good game, and groundbreaking in its way.
Beyond Good and Evil was good, but not good enough to keep me glued to it. I'll probably give it a go some other time, but it only mustered a few hours of play from me. It's compelling in many ways and it has a variety of gameplay, it was just mediocre in all of those gameplays. But the characters are fun and the story seemed to be moving.

I haven't played the others.
Psychonauts is the best game on your list, in my opinion (I haven't played Hammerwatch, to be fair). Awesome 3D plataformer.
Okay, since you asked for it, here's a random suggestion:

1. You are allowed to play two or three games from different genres at the same time, depending on your mood (for example, I myself have to be in the right mood to play a point-and-click adventure, and sometimes I prefer something with more action, for a change).

2. Regarding the point-and-click adventures, you could start with Blackwell Legacy, as it's pretty short. Then if you're still hooked, move on to the next episode (all of them are just between one and six hours, I think, with the last one being the longest and the other three quite short). Repeat until you think you could do with a break. Depending on your playing preferences, playing four episodes in a row might be a bit much, so as soon as you've had your fill, take a break and play Deponia, then decide whether to play Deponia 2 or continue with the Blackwell series.

3. If you need a little more action, play Psychonauts. Beyond Good and Evil is cool, too, but Psychonauts is the greater classic. Psychonauts is the longer game though, I think.

4. Play Hammerwatch casually, in between.

5. I don't know much about Hammerwatch, but the other games are an excellent choice; so stick with these games and don't let yourself get distracted by any other suggestions here until you've had your fun with them and crave for more. :)

I absolutely consider Psychonauts to be the best game on that list, although many people find that the very last level loses them; also, I've heard tell that the GOG version isn't fully patched. I'd give Beyond Good and Evil second place, although it also sort of comes apart at the end.
If I were you...

I'd pick one point and click and one platformer from your list

For the adventure game, I'd skip Deponia until the third episode is released, and get the Blackwell Bundle. They're nice games to play alongside something else as the episodes are short and manageable.

For the platformer/action game I think Psychonauts is better overall and more of a 'classic' than BG&E, although I did enjoy both.

Can't help with Hammerwatch, as it's the only game in your list that I haven't played
You forgot Sacrifice. Also, King of Dragon Pass is on sale right now, be sure to get that one too .

It can't be said enough times :P
I have not played all of the games on your wishlist, but here is my take on the ones that I've played:

The Blackwell bundle. Really good point & click adventure games, and while they are individually rather short, together you'll get a good amount of entertainment out of that collection. A bit on the easy side though.

Psychonauts I found this one to be a bit overrated. The humor was good, the characters were interesting, and it also had a nice arty-style, but the actual gameplay was only so-so. Still, not a bad game.

Beyond Good & Evil is an interesting game. It tries to do a lot of different things, and while no single part excels, it offers a lot of variety. The characters were also well written, and the story is surprisingly mature.

In the end, I can't really give more advice than that. All three are worthy games, and you'll most likely not regret picking up either one of them.
