2 reviews are out so far, and they sound positive. It seems like the team has taken an approach of having more action elements, like a shooter with RPG elements. Sounds good to me so far, finally a game based on a movie/TV show that doesn't take itself seriously, that actually might not suck :D
I was going to, but I'm on this anti-full price spree right now..
It's a franchise that seems like it doesn't take itself seriously. And then Dan Aykroyd starts talking.

Game's price is $30 and PC version has no MP or CoOp options like console versions and it has DRM. We don't know what kind of DRM it is but I think it is like Riddick because of dumb Atari, DRM 3 non recoverable activations. If that happens I will pass this and wait for revoke tool to buy.

it's a good thing I was considering trading games in to get this at a lower price for my xbox 360.
It's basically a third movie... so yeah. No Rick Moranis, who seems to prefer doing voiceovers for bad direct to DVD movies as of late.
according to imdb they are thinking about making a third movie.
its in the script phase.

Nah, I would expect it to either be following the game or just be a horrible film adaptation for the people who don't play video games.
I hear the PC hardware requirements are a bit on the high side, some dual-core processors aren't supported, neither are 256mb graphics cards.
That pretty much rules me out, at least until I can get a beefier PC.

It's probably just horribly optimized. Or should I say, "optimized".

No doubt. It also shows a degree of contempt for a large section of PC gamers.

Yeah, the graphics are nice, but it most certainly doesn't require such high-end hardware. It's like the developers didn't even try.

So, online activation, but no online features? The pirates will have a field day with this one...

BioShock was the same, as were a few other games I can't quite recall at the moment. Requiring online activation is a DRM feature publishers commonly choose these days, but since most games have multiplayer or other online functionality it usually doesn't stand out.
