I can't sneak. Nor block. Whenever I push the damn button, the fokker won't sneak. What's the matter here? It doesn't work with using mouse, nor does it work with the xbox controller.

Any idea how to fix this?

Edit. Should probably also tell the OS, which is Win 7 64bit

I don't remember having this problem. I did remap the game on a gamepad though as the keyboard controls was beyond playable for me.

I didn't have this problem either. Have you gotten to the sneaking part of the tutorial? I think it wouldn't let me sneak until that part. After that, I had no problems.

I'm stuck in that tutorial, as it wants me to sneak, and I can't. Stand idle and press RMB (I did try to even remap this damn thing, no avail), but the guy just stands there, admiring his perfect hair. I mean, it doesn't work in DX10 mode, nor in "normal" mode. Not with mouse, not with controller. I have absolutely no idea what's wrong here. Do I need to re-install or something?

Do you have your weapon put away?

You have to put away your weapons to sneak. If you haven't don that, then that might be it.

Crouch? There's a button for crouch? I didn't see one in the settings. Rmb is for block/sneak, according to the key config.

sneaking with an weapon i think you need the appropriate skills like assassin

Don't worry - you don't actually have to sneak trough the tutorial, you can just kill everyone IIRC, and stealth in the game is broken anyway, which makes it utterly useless - you're not missing out on anything by not sneaking trough the tutorial.

No, I can't block either. I have no weapon, as it's still the damn jail. I have swords in my inv, but can't wield them due to lack of strength. The game wants me to sneak, I guess so I can locate a hidden switch to open a hidden door. It said that stand idle, press RMB to sneak. I stood there with my thumb in my backdoor, pressing RMB like and idiot. Nothing.

you tried to hold richt clik button for like 3-5 secons and see it you can sneak and move around?
also you can try to remap to Left Ctrl (control)

Yes, holding down doesn't work. Even remapping it doesn't work...

If you have not already done so, try right clicking the game icon, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, check "Run this program as an administrator". I also check Disable visual themes, Disable Desktop composition.

I also install all games in a folder outside of the Program Files folder. I use C:\Games not that it maters

Also maybe make the game exe a trusted file in your firewall program.


Edit: I am assuming that you right click and HOLD the button down? =)
