I think a computer programmer is a bit hard to translate to the middle ages, then I guess something like a scholar.

But will like to be a hunter/archer (love bows)

I'd probably be some kind of councilman, as I can't imagine myself roaming the lands with a sword on my back helping people who need help with rats or wolves.

For #2 I think the job closest to my actual job would be a castellan. Creating and preparing reports, managing some funds, solving problems with them and answering to others who actually own the properties only departure is that it's not a manor or a castle just intellectual properties of software. Maybe I should use software castellan as my job description on my next resume :-)

What I think would be a lot of fun though as my medieval dream job would be a falconer - training and hunting with birds of prey is just cool.

If I lived in the middle ages, I would probably be a philosophical strategist. I love games like risk and chess and enjoy philosophy as a hobby.

It's my fantasy to be a knight. If I live in the Middle Ages, I'd choose the career as a warrior. I'd then try to achieve the status and rank as a knight, by way of merit. At the peak of my career I'd want to be a ruler, establishing my own dynasty. At war, I'm a general and a fighter. At peace, I'd be a just and kind landlord. Maybe I'd be a crusader as well, but to defend, not invader. I'd be a knight as idealized in the code of chivalry.

I think I would be a monk. In medieval times, they were the only ones to be commissioned for musical compositions. They were also the primary producers of wine :D
