I just installed and played a UT3 mod called Ajax & Argo, made as a school project by six students from Vancouver.
On the Epic forum, one of the team states that "we didn't have the resources to make custom assets besides the enemy models". Here's a shot of the basic enemy. The two or three others are variations of the same. Anyone else think the developers are fans of the Crusader series? :-D

Or fans of Star Wars/Mandalorians
Or fans of Battlestar Galactica
Or fans of any other countless campaign settings that have jacked the T-visor :p

Or fans of Dead Space?

Yeah well it's not just the T-visor, it's more the entire package, and the coloring.

Replace it with metally silver and you have one of the old BSG Cylons
Replace the text with generic Star Wars, you have a Mandalorian (or a Red Stormtrooper).
Don't get me wrong, I loved Crusader. But this is like claiming that D&D invented elves (when Tolkein jacked the Elves LONG before D&D jacked Tolkein :p) or that Mass Effect invented bug-like aliens (everyone jacks Starship Troopers, and I am sure that short story jacked someone else :p).

True. I just thought it was funny suddenly fighting what appeared to be silencers, that's all. And I know there are a lot of Crusader fans here, so I thought I'd share.

I don't know about these guys, but I can tell you one thing for certain: Vagabond is one hell of a Crusader fan :)

Yeah, Vagabond will probably cream in his pants (if he wears any) if he sees this... or not.

I know, I had Vagabond in mind when I posted this ;-)
