It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Honestly I'm fucking sick of this. Every time I download a game from here, it'll get to 98% and then fail. The GOG downloader is rediculously slow to the point where it's not even worth bothering with it, hence using a program like getright or even the standard download tab with firefox.
I have no problem downloading from other sites, just here. I wouldn't mind having multiple tries at downloading things, except not everywhere in the world has unlimited bandwidth. After getting to 98% 3 times on a 2 gig download when you have a monthly cap of 20 GB kinda pisses you off after a while.
Sort your shit out.
Use Flashget. Works for me.
I'm sorry your first, polite post on the subject was not effective that you had to subsequently resort to this one.

I am, get a 403 error at 98%.

Oh dear, I'm terribly sorry I offended you with my choice of two words in my original post milord, shall I remove them lest it be a burden upon thine reading pleasure?

have you put a ticket in to support?

Weclock: have you put a ticket in to support?

Is it worthwhile? I have posted a couple of times on the forums and haven't really gotten anywhere and from previous experience with other sites/games' support, tickets seem to be a waste of time.
The GOG downloader has been working fine for me. I always get speeds of 200-300kbps, which is very good imo. When you say "ridiculously slow" I assume you mean less than 10kbps. How many times have you tried downloading with the downloader? It's possible that the server could be undergoing some sort of maintenance or heavy stress when you were trying to download
Anyway, welcome to the community, but acting like a jerk on the first few posts isn't really going to help yourself, or anyone else, solve the problem. I've been there before so I know
-edit-
On the topic of emailing GOG, yes you can email them and they will respond to your email. Well, at least Peter did when I emailed them

I get irregular speeds, but that's mostly because I'm on a wireless connection here. I use an 8M connection (which is damned cheap), what ISP are you, just out of curiousity?

Cheers for the reply.
The downloader, when it decides to work, downloads at under 100kbps. Getright downloads at nearly 1k, hence the 'rediculously slow' comparison. If the server has been undergoing problems every time I've tried to download with getright/flashget I'd be a pretty unlucky guy.
Re the jerk bit, I'm normally pretty decent on forums, in particular when people are providing services for free. I understand that problems occur with servers etc, but when i happens time and time again...

it may take longer than hoped (I've had it take three days) but they will eventually get around to discussing it with you. Smaller website = Faster service.
unlike with steam..

Sweet, I've flicked them a mail. See how it goes.

Yep, Peter with GOG Support has been damn quick to get back to me when I emailed them. Quick is 2 days for me since they are all in Poland.
...maybe if GOG provides some sort of "official" torrent download, like gameupdates.org, providing another method of downloading the games you bought?? Would that be a good idea? A registration-only torrent, which you have to login with your GOG account to use, of course.

Also please note that their support staff is small and they do get weekends off. As it's currently just about quitting time there, it may be Monday before you get to the top of the queue.
Have you tried downloading your games in another computer? maybe the problem is on your end, just saying is worth checking out.
