The twist has been done before, and Martin Scorsese of all people should know not to give Leonardo DiCaprio an accent, but other than that this movie is solid gold. I've never been more terrified/sad when watching a movie before! Ben Kingsley makes his role his bitch, and the rest of the supporting cast work their magic well. Try to keep away from spoilers with this one; it's worth it.

Yep I'm gonna watch this. And I still have to watch Edge of Darkness. ;)
I just don't like much this guy, DiCaprio, but I've heard good things about this movie. And it is from Scorsese.

Is this a remake or based on a book? It looks really really familiar. Maybe I just watch too many horror and mystery movies.

I saw that after I posted. Still, It looks like something else I've seen though, not anything recent, except maybe Gothika. I could swear it's a loose remake of a Fox Noir movie.

Based on the book. I never read it, but a friend of mine says the book is better. Which is fine, but I've never read the book, and I thought the movie was awesome.

It's golden. Scorsese has done it again and is able to make you doubt it till the end. So good...
