Why should GOG limit itself to selling only games that no other digital store wants to sell? (First hint: why aren't those other stores interested in those games?)

Anyway, as Steam also has entered also classic gaming more and more, ie. GOG's turf, it just makes sense GOG also tries to acquire some newer games that Steam sells too, especially if they are able to offer the GOG extra perks, like no DRM. But naturally this may be quite hard to convince for big companies like Ubisoft and EA, who rather want to keep their third-party DRM/account in all their new games.

I'd prefer if the big sales weren't during holidays. I don't want to sit around with my computer refreshing a website on my vacation time. I mostly missed the sales this time around because I was on my summer vacation.

Who the hell cares about steam sales? I'd rather wait for the games on steam to come on sale here on GOG. The games that are not here on GOG I may purchase on steam, but they would have to be on sale.

As stated GOG doesn't see Steam as competition, to them competition comes from pirates who there trying to offer a better service to customers so that everyone purchases there games and supports said developers.
