A little while ago I was chatting up with some blokes on the IRC channel.
I was thinking back at the old days when some installers could run with a special syntax through a DOS prompt or sth to self-extract.
What I wanted was to put Operation Flashpoint GOTY on a DVD so I could install from the DVD instead of opening the file and wait hours for the bloody program to load or suffer from a crash due to low memory.
It should be possible, most install packages already have this. And if it's possible, please add support for third-party extracting software (i.e. WinRAR, WinZip) to extract the .exe file aswell.
Atm. if I run the gog installer with the /? syntax through the DOS prompt it just starts the installer.
I really love the installers you have, but it should be a tad more versatile.
