I imagine GOG won't update the installers until they have had a chance to test it. The same thing happened when the new DOSBox was released. While in theory nothing should break they would want to make doubly sure anyway.

If you want to use 1.0 on your current ScummVM Enabled(TM) GOG games then just replace scummvm.exe where appropriate.
Place SDL.dll in your system32 just to be safe, too.

I hope they at least update "Beneath a Steel Sky" since the speed problems has been corrected.
