The name says it all. Where is that dang save file. I would like to get the location of every game save file that GOG offers. I format my hard drive probably more often than I need to but I get bored sometimes. So for all of us who get so close to the end of the game then get that dang viruses and need to reformat but need to figure out where that save file before we pull our hair out. So let's get every path, the full path so we don't have to think that hard.
Please when you list the location give the name of your OS and then the path.
Thank you all GOG gamers.
For Gothic 2 gold edition on Windows 7 64 bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Gothic 2 Gold\Saves\current
Honestly, I think that every single GoG game is going to be in the install directory. I don't think any of them use the AppData or My Documents route.

Thats where the game is installed to but not necessarily where your saved data is. I noticed Fallout Tactics saves it somewhere else but I have yet to find it

If you're on Vista/Win 7 there's always a chance they're in:
C:\Users\<User>\App Data\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Gog.com\Fallout Tactics
replace 'Program Files' with 'Program Files (x86)' for 64bit

I know Darkstar One uses a "My Documents" save directory (also stores settings and mods there). I'm sure every GOG game is different, but the vast majority of them will normally use a save directory in the install directory.
