apparently that halo game doesn't require you to gather resources. Endwar is resource-free too. In fact, I don't think you even have a base in Endwar. Its not a new game, but you may like it.

Halo Wars sucks, as the whole "auto generate resources buildings" ultimately forces the game into one giant rush tactic (with the covnent having the advantage with the jump pads)
