I only played the game for a short time so I don't really know. I doubt it's as good as Undying. Undying is a masterpiece. The game is only $5 on Steam though so not much of a risk if you buy it.

Jericho's very good, actually - it's just completely different from Undying. Undying is a horror shooter which slowly builds up towards increasingly more mysterious narrative, whereas Jericho is mostly attempting to be much more epic and action-orientated. That being said, storyline in Jericho is actually pretty good, and the gameplay is fun altho it does overdo it with suicide opponents. It's not a great game, it's not as good as Undying, but it does have its own things going for it and it's definitely worth playing trough at least once.

+1 for FEAR. The 3rd installment is the most challenging of the series, 2 is the easiest but they're pretty linear.
There was one mention of Singularity earlier in this thread which I'd also recommend.
Bulletstorm is just over-the-top gory fun. Some cheesy one liners but that's part of its charm.
If you want something a bit different, try the Darkness 2....it's more comic book FPS.
3rd person manic-shooter that's satisfying - Vanquish
All would be relatively cheap at the moment.
edit: I would avoid RAGE - it tries to be Fallout 3 with vehicles but fails. Also, it's not linear.

FEAR 2. Great AI. Story but no interuption of hte action. Grea lighting, good luse of cover, greandes are awesome, cause you're using em in hospital corridors. Nice ear-ringing. Fun guns. Scary stuff thrown in for more fun.
Yeah.
Yeah.

It may not be 1st person, it may be 2d, and it may not have a story, but......
You can not go wrong with Metal Slug 3.

So the guy says to me, "I need some help. Slugs have infested my garden! What should I do?"
I said to him, "Don't plant so close to the firing range."

No One Lives Forever................2 if you want Halo era graphics.
Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter.......already mentioned but it's an entertaining game.
Red Faction.................................probably too old graphics wise, 2 has improved graphics but are still not Halo like.
Unreal 2........................................not as good as the first but I had a good time playing it anyway.
Chrome.........................................has some light inventory management and nice openworld levels.
edit:
I'm not participating in the contest by the way.
Oh, Steam/GOG requirements then I think you can scratch NOLF and MGBH.
Star Trek: Elite Force.................fun even if you aren't into Star Trek.

Let me think out loud a bit.
Max Payne 2 - great action, good graphics, use the widescreen patch and my no hud mod for a great movie like experience. One of my all time favorite games.
Alan Wake - Slower shooter, so maybe not what you're looking for, but I enjoyed it and I normally prefer games with more action. It has a good story.
Shadow Warrior - Mostly swordplay with shooting thrown in. Great graphics and can be fun, but upgrades to powers and weapons feel overly complex for an action game. Story is a little cheesy.
FEAR (the first game) is also really great. That and Max Payne 2 have the best action and slo-mo / bullet time of any games I've played. There's a story there, but I never paid attention to it.
Not in for the contest though.

How about Livalink ?
Just plain old shooting without any unecessary distractions. Probably not a game you can play for hours but it's fun in short bursts.
